season three
It took us almost three years to finish writing and recording Kolossus (Season Two), and in that process we came up with more than 30 different songs. In the end we had to pick the 15 that worked best for what we're trying to do, but it also means we have 15+ more songs that won't be released in Season Two.
That means that Season Three is halfway written already, so hopefully there will be a much shorter window between Season Two and Season Three, than the one between Season One and Season Two.
discussion boards
We'll soon be introducing a discussion board. Interaction is an important part of SFGW, and being able to say whatever you want (whether it be praise or complaints) keeps you closer to the band, and us closer to you.
It'll be possible to discuss both the band and our past, current and future projects...as well as room for discussing anything else that might be on your mind at the moment. No rules will apply - BUT...you will only be able to login with your Facebook account, so there will be no anonymity.
iphone app
An iPhone App is coming, designed to make it easy for iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad owners to get the latest single from wherever they are. The app features automatic downloads, special iPhone functions, all other previously released episodes, etc.
The application is being coded right now by some asian girl we met in a bar in Hong Kong, and was designed by our design partner Anuli Photography in conjunction with this main website.
create 16
We've actually had an idea for a while now to try and include the fanbase in our song writing process. Through collaboration on a special section of the website, the fanbase will actually write most of the last song of the season. We call this feature Create16.
The idea right now is roughly registering/logging in, listening to the latest version, coming up with a cool idea for ANY aspect of the songs progression (lyrics, arrangement, song name, cover art, etc), posting the idea and wait for it to be approved/implemented. Detailed information will come soon.
